“Our family hired Karen to be the photographer at two of our sons’ weddings. We specifically asked Karen to not be an “in your face” type of photographer who was constantly asked people to pose for pictures while the reception was happening. Karen not only managed to do this, but the photos she took ended up being creative and fun and really captured the feeling of these special days. We, of course, did have some posed photographs before the reception that turned out beautiful as well. Our sons and their wives have some beautiful photo books full of wonderful memories.
One of our sons now has a young son and asked Karen to photograph him. One of the photographs in particular is incredible — it captures our son cradling his naked infant son on his bare chest. She took engagement photos that were part of the package in locations that had meaning for our daughters which meant she had to travel to get to the locations. Karen was on time for the pre-wedding photos and she made us all comfortable. She also brought an assistant who took similar pictures just in case there were equipment malfunctions.
